USDT (TRC20)
Tether's US-dollar stablecoin issued on the TRON network as a TRC20 token. It's popular for cheap, fast transfers, but each send consumes TRON Energy.
USDT (TRC20) is the TRON version of the dollar-pegged stablecoin. It's one of the most-transferred assets in crypto because TRON confirms in seconds and, with Energy, sends are extremely cheap.
Each USDT (TRC20) transfer is a smart-contract call, so it needs about 65,000 Energy (or ~131,000 to an address that has never held USDT). Cover that with rented Energy and a transfer costs a fraction of a dollar; leave it uncovered and TRON burns several TRX of your balance instead.
