Energy Fee
The on-chain price of one unit of Energy in sun, set by TRON governance (the getEnergyFee parameter). It determines how much TRX is burned when you have no Energy.
The Energy fee is a network parameter that fixes how many sun each unit of Energy costs when burned. At the current 100 sun per Energy, a 65,000-Energy USDT transfer burns 65,000 × 100 sun = 6.5 TRX.
Because TRON governance can change this parameter, the real cost of not having Energy can move over time. Renting sidesteps the burn entirely — you pay a live rental price instead of the full burn rate.
