Staking (Freezing) TRX

Locking up TRX to obtain Energy or Bandwidth. Staking gives you a steady resource supply but ties up capital — unlike renting, which is pay-per-use.

When you stake (freeze) TRX under Stake 2.0, you receive Energy and Bandwidth proportional to the amount locked, plus voting rights. Unstaking returns your TRX after a waiting period.

Staking makes sense if you send constantly and want a permanent resource base. For occasional or bursty sending, renting the exact Energy a transfer needs is usually cheaper overall, because it doesn't tie up a TRX balance that swings with the market.

Need Energy for a USDT transfer? Rent exactly what you need — up to 70% cheaper than burning TRX, delivered in ~10–15 seconds.
