Super Representative
One of the 27 elected block-producing nodes that secure the TRON network. Staked TRX votes for them and can earn rewards.
TRON uses a delegated proof-of-stake system: TRX holders who stake can vote for Super Representatives, who produce blocks and maintain the network.
For everyday USDT senders this is mostly background, but it connects to resources: staking TRX both generates Energy/Bandwidth and gives you votes that can earn rewards. Renting Energy skips this entirely — you don't stake, so you don't vote or earn, but you also don't lock up capital.
