Bandwidth
TRON's second network resource. Bandwidth covers the basic byte-size of a transaction. Every account gets a small free daily allowance of it.
Where Energy pays for smart-contract execution, Bandwidth pays for the raw size of a transaction on-chain. A simple TRX transfer mostly uses Bandwidth; a USDT (TRC20) transfer uses a little Bandwidth plus a lot of Energy.
Every TRON account receives a small free Bandwidth allowance each day, which refills over 24 hours. That free allowance is usually enough for the Bandwidth part of a USDT send — so in practice, Energy is the resource you actually need to worry about.
